Sterile ampoule of vitamin C for transcutaneous application that may protects against oxidation caused by UV rays.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is one of the antioxidant vitamins. It is the skin’s most important non-enzymatic hydrosoluble antioxidant. It palliates the oxidative damage caused by ultra violet radiation to the epidermal cells and has a whitening effect.
It stimulates collagen synthesis, activating its regulating gene (transcriptional effect). It also intervenes in the synthesis of important elements of the extracellular matrix of the connective tissue, as well as activating peptide hormones and tyrosine catabolism.
